Rudi Kurth
This time an entry on Rudi Kurth, a former sidecar ace and top constructor. He made sidecars based on Crescent speedboat engines and he also was the builder of the first Yamaha triple which he also used in his sidecar. Takazumi Katayama became 350cc world champion on a similar engine. Rudi always raced the sidecar with his beautiful wife Dane Rowe. Today Rudi builts very nice race bikes.
Rudi and Dane behind the Monark a 500cc solo machine powered by a Crescent triple. Rudi never got payed by Monark. The bike didn´t race in the 500cc class.
